Company: ConocoPhillips

Project: Jasmine Well Test

Location: North Sea

Overview:

ConocoPhillips approached Peak recognising they lacked the specialist area of expertise required for their work on the Jasmine Platform.

Methodology:

PEAK provided an independent chairman to ConocoPhillips for the project. The chairman was responsible for conducting the hazard and operability (HAZOP) study required for hook-up and commissioning activities.

Included in this project was the execution of a well test, which had a floatel alongside. This involved significant simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) and combined operations (COMOPS).

Conclusion:

PEAK’s flexible and light-footed structure and approach meant they were able to respond rapidly to ConocoPhillips’ requirement. The supply of expertise and personnel also resulted in the client being able to tailor its offering to meet any schedule.
